Donned in a red tie and a serious demeanor President Obama announced his plan to deploy an additional 4,000 support troupes to Afghanistan in addition to the 17,000 combat and support troupes already planned for deployment.
While the plan is to dismantle the Taliban and its militant Al Qaeda supporters, nation building in such an already destabilized country will most certainly be a part of the U.S. presence there. How can it not?
