Being Honest
Healthy skepticism necessary for democracy is not the same as the masquerading of righteousness for the purpose of attaining power.
Hmmm... this could be extended to so many thing both personal and objectively. Billy Joel said 'honesty is such a lonely word', and I think he had a good point.
Honesty is a word that demands something of all of us that we fall short of... some use that shortfall to their advantage others are in denial of their own lack and therefore continue to 'fool themselves, with their own brand of honesty, which is an excuse to support their needs and goals... how else to explain the GOP and Faux News..?
