Being is the essence out of which all things evolve. This blog is an ongoing conversation of being in various facets and areas of life, including the personal and the professional from which relationships of all kinds are formed and teams built in all communities, virtual or real, at home, at work, in politics and at play.

Being Robert Gibbs
Micheal Steele, the RNC Chairman in Black Face, blamed being black for the heat he is receiving for donor monies spent during his tenure on outrageous escapades and personal items. Robert Gibbs, the Press Secretary for the White House whom I have written of here more than once for his wit, responded, "I don't think Michael Steel's problem is the race card; it's the credit card."

Strange. I never blamed the abuse I got from the banks over my credit card debts on being white. Maybe I should have thought of that.
Uh, I don't think that would've worked, DB, like the race card will not work for Steele. :-)
There are instances everyday where people are still being discriminated against; therefore, it is quite sad when it is sited unnecessarily.
Michael Steele's problem is he has been a cosmetic figure for the Republican party period--until of course when the heat is on.
I wasn't serious.
True that, Pam.
DB - I knew you weren't serious! LOL!
Judith
I wish I could have used that one when I was having my share of financial problems!
hehehehe!
Thanks for the laugh.
Funny, CJ! :-)
Liked Gibbs' comeback :)
