Being is the essence out of which all things evolve. This blog is an ongoing conversation of being in various facets and areas of life, including the personal and the professional from which relationships of all kinds are formed and teams built in all communities, virtual or real, at home, at work, in politics and at play.

Being President Obama
George Soros has said that President Obama has "lost control of the agenda." But did we need Soros to tell us this? I was talking with a friend who said that President Obama was just posturing waiting for the Republicans to move. Posturing? For what? The wars continue to the tune of trillions as welfare for the rich, needed social programs are on the chopping block for the middle class and poor, and a near trillion dollars were given with the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the rich. If this is posturing, we need President Obama to act.

*sigh* I don't know what to say. I feel like I can't defend the man anymore but then again he inherited a Pandora's box of troubles. I don't think two years is sufficient time to get us out of this hole, but all I know is that two years in, personally, it's getting worse.
He's doing the best anyone could do given the situation. In America, we don't have a leadership problem, we have a follow-ship problem. We have no idea how to follow. Forty or fifty years ago, we were too good at following. Its all or nothing with us. If we can't figure this out, we are doomed. Next election, we have a choice between Obama, and one of the following Huckabee, Romney, Trump and maybe Chris Cristi.
How do you run a country with a free press where the citizens are this clueless?
