Being the Cutest Kid Ever

Here's the cutest kid ever rocking John Mayer's "I'm Yours" on the ukulele and sorta singing it too. Isn't he the cutest ever? He's also quite talented too.

I must also say that every kid is the cutest kid ever, until the next cutest kid, of course. They never cease to amaze. Kids are wonderful the world over!

I'd love to hear this little guy play 12 months from now. Whew!

Speaking of whew! did you happen to catch the HBO Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert (that's still getting shown on HBO regularly). Stevie Wonder - with guest performances from Smokey, BB, John Major, and Jeff Beck - was great along with Aretha, U2, Bruce, Paul Simon, Sam More, and others.

I mean, really, John! This kid is remarkable. He has a great ear. Did you notice when he didn't play that chord just right the look on his face? He corrected it instanteously. Just remarkable!

Yes, I did catch the HBO Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert. I thought it was great! I agree. There were many great performances. I really enjoyed it.

He's got talent! What a cutie. I also love seeing the joy and exuberance of children when they dive into something that brings happiness to themselves and others.

Yes, it's good to feel pleased with your performance and delighted that others are also pleased. Kids are so honest about these emotions, even when they want to hog the spotlight. :-) When I was a graduate student I worked as a substitute teacher and it was just wonderful to teach children to appreciate themselves and others.

Ajey - What's up with the young Asian kids? :-) I think their parents must begin them very early with lessons. But they seem to really have an affinity for learning music at such young ages, and at the very least mimicking great musicians. I have seen countless of Asian kids doing extraordinary things on various instruments playing pop and classical music. Fantastic!
