Being is the essence out of which all things evolve. This blog is an ongoing conversation of being in various facets and areas of life, including the personal and the professional from which relationships of all kinds are formed and teams built in all communities, virtual or real, at home, at work, in politics and at play.

Being a Working Girl
Working Girl is one of my favorite movies and I love this song!
"Let the river run. Let all the dreamers wake the nations. Come, the New Jerusalem"
(The opening backdrop engendered heartbreaking memories. Blessings to all!)
I had forgotten completely about "Working Girl" and what a great movie it was indeed. In many ways Tess character captured the reality of the workplace that many women on the corporate "front line" face...then and now! I also can't decide if that was Tom Peters playing Harrison Ford or the other way around...
The song is indeed beautiful, and inspiring...thanks for sharing it!

Such a good, in fact great line! Thanks for sharing this Aunt! The instant we don't dream, we're dead.
So, true, my Nephew! You would know. What a talented lyricist you are!

Yes, Dave, women still do have challenges on the front line. Don't quite get the Peters' reference, though.
