Ajey - This is a part of the "Pure Michigan" series. All are wonderful! They say so much in such a short span of time. Does it snow where you grew up? I know it doesn't in Australia where you now live.

Judith,

That was terrific! It seems is that every time I glance at the TV lately there is a picture of a snow less and almost balmy looking Detroit airport...seems out of place this time of year.

A Snow Day up North...that would be a great experience for sure!

Dave - When I moved to southern California after college and then to northern California, I missed the snow. I love sking! Come on to Michigan and bring the family. I am known to be a great host. :-)

Judith,

That was the beauty of living in Rancho Cordova (Sacremento suburb). Bay Area with sports and music and ambiance was about 75 minutes away. Lake Tahoe and skiing about 2 hours as I recall.

There is no doubt you would be a great host! You're terrific 24/7/365!

Ah, Lake Tahoe! Your comment, Dave, reveals you as a friend. Thanks for your kind words.
