Being is the essence out of which all things evolve. This blog is an ongoing conversation of being in various facets and areas of life, including the personal and the professional from which relationships of all kinds are formed and teams built in all communities, virtual or real, at home, at work, in politics and at play.

Being Inspired by Others
I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.
But, oh, Kelly, you LOVE music so! I loved the Rolling Stones clip you posted. And what a talented poet you are. Love those Quick Fires. Lots of love going on, my friend. :-) Thinking of you and your family and said a prayer for you today. All is well.
Gotta love the Charles Man. Hey, Judith, did you happen to catch the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert last night on HBO? Stevie Wonder was incredible. He choked up singing an MJ song. And Smokey did a cameo singing the greatest Motown song of all time: "Tracks of My Tears."
John - Yep, gotta love Ray Charles! It's kinda hard not to, eh? I have not heard anyone say that they didn't like his music. I was out last night and missed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert. But I'm sure HBO will air it again many times. So, I'll probaby catch it. I saw the promotion for it more than once and it looked like quite the eclectic show. Stevie is always amazing. I'm sure since MJ's passing that he probably reflects often on the Motown days. MJ was such a genius. I have yet to see "This It It." I've heard and read really good things about it. Smokie is an amazing songwriter. My girl, Annie Lennox, performed too. Looking forward to hearing her. I have always loved her music and advocacy. She has fanstastic style!

I definitely don't have your talent, my dear friend :) But I do share your feelings that music is inherently part of me. Love Ray Charles' quote.
