Being Pathetic

Here is Sarah Palin at the teabaggers' convention reading cheat notes written on her hand like an elementary school student. How pathetic! It's extraordinary that she would be paid six figures to read anything to anybody written anywhere, let alone on the palm of her hand.

Who would elect this pathetic politician to the presidency?

Other pathetic people? I don't think Americans are largely pathetic.

Incredible.

I understand speaker anxiety. I am thinking working at personal improvement of an area weak because of inexperience or whatever would be a better path!

Frankly, Judith, no matter with Ms. Sarah has to say or how she says it , I personally have little interest in hearing it....
call me close minded if you like:>)
Hope your week is a great one.

Linda - Incredible indeed! I understand performance anxiety, as I have been a performer all of life. Speakers share the same anxiety. I have given more than a few speeches. What is comforting, however, is the knowledge that you have knowing that you are prepared. This woman is just straight up unprepared.

I agree with you about the interest level. I had stop writing about her. But what makes me write of her again are those who obviously believe that she could hold the office of the presidency. How pathetic!

Imagine her as President Obama speaking before a room of Democrats, answering brilliantly questioned poised by the opposition. She doesn't seem to have even run her office as the governor. Emails suggest that her husband had a very prominent role. This woman doesn't seem to know
anything.

Have a super week!

Is she much different than George Bush?

I don't think George Bush was as divisive. He has a bit more class too, not to mention his wife. :-) I could not imagine him ever writing cheat notes on his hand. I must admit that while I didn't agree with all of his policies, I liked the man. Palin is utterly unlikeable. I will never forget how divisive she was in pitting one part of the country against the other during the last campaign. I will also not forget the outright lies spoken about candidate Obama.

Yes Judith. I agree with you! I believe that it is positive for a woman to be in the political spotlight but I confess I would have favored...and still do Hillary over Sarah as one to be in that spotlight. Sorry If I sounded surley!! I love your writing and posts in any form!Linda

I had to comment even though I had vowed to not mention her name but I agree with you Judith, she is unlikeable! Her divisiveness is what completely made me despise her. During the campaign she was just someone whose beliefs did not square with me UNTIL the "pro American" comments. Her "pals around with terrorists" when she knew her husband was in the Alaskan secessionist party made me livid! She is pathetic and ANY one who thinks she is fit to lead this country needs to wake up and stop dreaming!

Linda - There is not even a question between the two women. To mention them both in the same sentence would bring utter shame to Hillary. We don't wanna do that, friend. :-) Personally, I have never known a woman who knew so little about some many things and to think that anyone thinks that she could be president is completely ludicrous. Thanks for your vote of confidence, Linda. It means a lot.

Judith, I left my first comment BEFORE watching the video. Help me here. I have never in my whole life been so ADVERSELY affected by someone I have NEVER met and it startles me. Sarah Palin makes me sick! Her voice is like tines of a fork on a ceramic plate! Am I missing something? What is her appeal? Why does she command so much attention? Why is she so compelling? I have met people who either love or hate her. NO in between. She was pathetic way before I saw this video and each time she opens her mouth she confirms it all the more. I am examining myself. I do not know this woman and yet she drives me to distraction! What gives?

LaDonna, the intelligent friend of y childhood, you and I had the very same pledge. A prominent friend in Washington some months ago when Palin quite being governor wrote and said, "let her go away in the sunset." Uh, I don't think that's gonna happen. I have no problem with her working her body and winking her eyes for a few buck. But I do have big problems with the thought of her being anywhere near the White House. Good to have you here, LaDonna. I hope the family's well. I loved the video of your daughter singing on FB. It cracked me up, girl!

LaDonna - I'm laughing so very hard at your last statement because I totally understand it. You see, LaDonna, we come a long line of very intelligent capable women and this woman just shames us to no end. The women around our 10,000 member church were brilliant. How beautiful they were! This woman is sincerely pathetic. It's just simply what is.

I don't think it's fair to say she was looking at notes on her palm. When the camera zoomed in on her hand, I could clearly make out the numerals 666. She was just looking for a little inspiration.

Jude, I completely agree with this comment.

Pam - She made some kind of heinous comment about war and the possible invasion of Iran on Fox. I saw it briefly on CNN while running. This woman is dangerous. She is doing the bidding for the likes of Cheney and Ailes, the president of Fox News. Of this, there is probably no doubt. They undoubtedly assume that such policies will be more palpable, more digestible in the mouth of a woman. Cheney's daughter Liz was too much of an attack dog. Palin is being used, but she is getting paid so this seems to be just fine with her. She is not sympathetic at all.
