Being irrepressible

dandelions
wild flowers
grass in crack
searching sunlight
bursting forth

how about you?

Thanks, The Write Girl. I thought those words as I worked alongside my gardner, looking at how hearty and determined wild flowers and grass are pressing though cracks in cement, reaching for sunlight-irrepressible.

Good poem, very simple. Thoughtful message. Looks like inspiration can come from anywhere, even watching the gardener at work.

Yes, indeed, Ryan.

very pretty Judith - and I do think they are impressive as they don't give up and persevere. However, it also makes me think of how they often kill or break what happens to be in their path - always mowing over someone else's effort.

Good to see you as well. I always like to comment every so often so you still know I am around.
