Being Heart-Broken

Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti during this very difficult time. It is believed that 100,000+ Haitians have lost their lives. You can donate as little as $10.00.

Here are some ways that you can donate online.

The White House
Red Cross
Partners in Health

Whatever you can do, please do it.

May God especially bless the people of Haiti and their loved ones.

I have been busy that I did not know of this. Let me see what I can do. The problem is, I am leaving for home tomorrow and there is not much I can do at the moment.

Thanks for sharing this Judith!

Ajey - You can donate $10.00 dollars online now to any of the organizations that I have listed here or one that you choose. Do something, anything, please.

I can't even imagine that kind of devastation. Thank you for the links Judith. I pray for all those suffering in Haiti and their families around the world. A truly sad day for humanity.

Yes, Kelly, it's so very sad. Pat Robinson's statement enraged me. But do give whatever you can, please.

I have no doubt the Australian government and its people are doing its part. Bet the campaign of soliciting donation through humanitarian institutions is already underway.

Yes, Bonnie, it appears that the international community is coming together. It is said that the first 48 hours are crucial for survival.

It is heart breaking to see the devastation. But is also heart-warming to see the response. We have a friend whose daughter serves as a missionary over there, she is refusing to be evacuated. She lost her home and doesn't know about what can be salvaged because she's been ministering and helping around the clock.

Beautiful opening, Corrie. Many blessings to the daughter of your friend who is a missionary over there. What a brave and loving person! Her parents are blessed to have such a daughter. I too have served in ministry abroad in a very poor country and understand well the love, struggle and pain in such an environment, but never in what we are witnessing in Haiti. Blessings!
