Being a Tweeter

Senator John McCain announced on the senate floor today that he began tweeting last week. Wow, this from the senator who had not even as of last year sent a single email. His learning curve is great. I guess technology has a way of energizing some in ways that policy and politics do not.

How else could we explain the many years the honorable senator has been in Washington with negligible results in comparison? It's a good thing that Senator Dodd, who has served in the senate for many years and serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affair, had not made such an announcement. The same inference could be made.

By the way, where is Senator Dodd?
