Being Excellent

Being excellent rules! It's striving towards an increasingly more excellent way of being, personally or professionally.

Yea!!! Excellent is close to being perfect, yet not perfect, would you agree?

Excellence, for me, is more a state of being, and not necessarily an accomplishment, though the outcome of such is excellent. Does this make sense to you? I think this includes your statement that being excellent is "being perfect, yet not perfect." Being excellent is the state of forever becoming more of what we will yet be.

Judith,

Reminds me of the Vince Lombardi quote "Perfection is not attainable, but if you chase it, you might catch excellence."

I like the idea of excellence being fluid...you can lose it or sustain it.

"the state of forever becoming more of what we will yet be",,,a quest! I like that>

Dave - I really like the Lombardi quote. Thanks for that!

I'm not sure if I relate to the idea of excellence being sustained.

Excellence is a state of forever being...

As I see it, excellence is not stagnant or sustained.

Excellence is a process, a state of forever becoming...

There is not universal definition for Excellence. It is a relative concept and no significant meaning to it. For me, it is a journey and not destiny. It is more inclined to state of mind.

Blessings to you all.
