Yes, indeed, Dave! Reuben actually said these words in service this morning and they struck me so profoundly. You may be glad to also hear that he sang Stevie Wonder's "Love's in Need of Love Today" in service today too. He's not only a great preacher, teacher, and motivational speaker, nationally and internationally, but he's a fine singer.
What I found particularly profound about the statement is that it directs mercy; mercy is attached to something--action! This is love. I often say love isn't love until you give it away.
