Being a Rose

"Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose."

--Gertrude Stein

The very essence is its core.

I am instantly remembering the song, "Kiss from a rose" by Seal.

It's funny how a quote can strike you at just the right moment. Often, I run into people who want me to stray from my position or beliefs. Or they want me to be other than me. So with this quote's inspiration, I gladly say: Kelly is Kelly is Kelly is Kelly. I am what I am. Philosophy with a little Popeye thrown in :)

Being a Rose gardener, I can so relate to this line. It's so pure and perfect, like Roses. I thought of the Seal song, too. I just love reading about him and his beautiful family and that he's such a loving father and husband. Blessings!

I love it, Kelly. Kelly is Kelly is Kelly is Kelly. We are just getting to know each other but I like you already just the way you are.

Oh, Marion, I so love your beautiful flowers and your words here. Peace and love, my friend.

I also appreciate that Seal seems to be such a loving husband and father.
