Being Inspired by Others

"Then let us all do what is right, strive with all our might toward the unattainable, develop as fully as we can the gifts God has given us, and never stop learning."

Great quote; great man.

Extraordinary music.

Beethoven is a favorite. The biography of his life is remarkable; the depth of intellect, experiences, and capacity to feel is most fascinating.

I love the running line on your blog, Rhi: "Music is what feelings sound like."

I imgagine Beethoven wrote such a piece the night of the clarity of the moon's face as of late.

Beethoven wondered why we loved his Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Opus 27, No. 2, called the "Moonlight Sonata."

"Surely I have written better things," Beethoven said, yet the Piano Sonata No. 14 is one of his most recorded pieces.
