Today I heard a great story. The kids who attend Ron Clark Academy, a private school in one of Atlanta's poorest neighborhoods, was given an unsolicited gift of $365,000 by Oprah Winfrey. To hear the founder of the school open the envelope, read the letter, and then pick up the check that had fallen to the ground was so heartwarming.
Let's all be better at giving this year. I have vowed to do just that. We need not give money alone. Let's make an effort to give of our time and knowledge to others. Let's help someone else achieve their dreams. "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Let's show our love one each other by giving.

Judith, as a receipient of the knowledge, spport, and encouragement you have offerred over the past year I am in 1000 percent agreement with you.
I have found the gift of time, information and conversation can often offer more value than cash! The greatest reward of someday seeing our Foundations4 project become a reality will be in the partnerships formed with folks like you, and my partner Regina, and others yet met. I can't think of a better way to thank you than by going out into the community and making a difference in the lives of others.
We are helpers one to another. All the very best with Foundations4. It is a worthy project ran by people who care.
