Being Artistic

Art does more than reflect what we see; it creates how things could be. Whatever your profession, whatever you do, be artistic. Create!

Yes! As art is shaped so it shapes.

Peace...

Nice, thepoetryman. Thank you.

We don't often think that being artisitic is needed in other fields, but having a degree in the arts and later becoming an entreprenueur and consultant for Fortune 500 companies, I see the direct correlation to business.

Art is needed. Period. The very study of the arts seems to challenge the mind differently. There are no staid paths for the creative being. Creativity and innovation are exactly what's needed everywhere.

May peace also be with you.

True!!! Art can be correlated with most of the other professional fields.

Me dad is a dentist. And, I recall him filling his patient's tooth so artistically. I recall him revealing to me that in the earlier days, he needed an orthodontic treatment but could not afford it. He came up with his own innovative solution and corrected his teeth's alignment by himself. His close friend who trained to become an orthodontist was surprised by the perfect results that was to be acquired by a rather expensive procedure.

I learnt a lot from him. He would merge his dental science skills with other fields too. During dramas in schools, he would use dental materials for realist-make up. Coming to think of it, that was quite innovative of him.

A very good post Judith!!! Again, you got me thinking!!!
