Being is the essence out of which all things evolve. This blog is an ongoing conversation of being in various facets and areas of life, including the personal and the professional from which relationships of all kinds are formed and teams built in all communities, virtual or real, at home, at work, in politics and at play.
Umm, yea, it is hot!!! But, any woman with such a footwear is definitely focused more towards her appearance than anything else. If you don't mind me adding, she's not a kinda woman I shall prefer having a relationship with.
Yes, indeed, Brosreview. I hear you, for sure. But the beauty here is style and fashion. The beauty is drama. The beauty is stunning. The beauty is design. The beauty is daring. (The model, by the way, who wore this shoe fell on the catwalk—twice!) The beauty is how you wear what you wear. The beauty is how you invite others. The beauty is variance. The beauty is confidence. The beauty is itself beauty.
I am a mixture of high fashion and extreme comfort. Most of my dress-up wear include heels that are 2.5 to 3 inches in an array of styles from modest to downright sexy! (I also have 1.5 heels for those offices that I enter. Everything needs to be done decently and in order.) BUT this 5' 10" woman is usually 6' 1". I could run in my heels. I have become so comfortable in them.
But I do hear you, Brosreview. Most Saturdays and Sundays find me in Ugs or Borns. On my birthday my friend and I went to a very posh place on the water here and that evening was the big auto show charity ball. Everyone had on tuxedos and gowns. (My brother and his wife surprised us when they walked in with friends. They were all decked out!) We knew of the ball and knew that it would be full of gowns and tuxedos. (My guy is a senior executive with an auto company. But we NEVER go, although we donate.) I wore jeans, a sweater, and Ugs; he wore jeans, boots, and a sweater. It was 3 below zero that night and we dressed for warmth.
We had the best dinner table to hear the jazz extraordinaire, Alexander Zonjic and legendary friends, and we were most comfortable surrounded by many others that we knew dressed up in heels, jewels and tuxedos. For me it’s all about being comfortable with yourself wherever you find yourself in any environment in any attire.
Please allow me also to say that in my travels worldwide, which included underdeveloped countries, the image of the shoe is so very important from a simple aspect of protection for the feet. It is also the very image of barefoot kids in America in certain areas or those who walk to and from school with shoes riddled with holes. From a very basic humanistic level of the originality of the shoe, I concede that this shoe is ridiculous. But for drama and pleasure, it can be fun and desirable.
The beauty in them, is only if you can walk without falling over in them and making a utter fool of yourself.Ha!I'm not sure I could, but I don't think I would want to try anyway. Real beauty comes from within anyway.
The shoes are HOT - I love my tall shoes. I am actually not completely focused on looks/appearance, but super fun shoes are my occasional guilty pleasure.
Clearly, I would not understand the "feelings" for this footwear due the gender restrictions (?!).

I have always seen fashion as wearing something you are comfortable with over something that makes you quite radical. So, my sense of fashion is quite... passé.
And, that footwear, to me, does not look comfy.
Just my opinion.

Oh yeah, these shoes defintely light my fire!
Brava, Cynthia! They do the same for me! :-)
Perhaps it's a woman thing! But I think not. My brothers, for example, love a little high drama! In shoes, that is!

Very nice, SarahA! Go for it, girl! Real beauty to me comes from within but is shown without.
Art, music, words, photography are all examples of beauty without, though created from within.
Do pop in again, Sarah. I love your hands.

Indeed, Meena! Work it girl!
I will :)
That's for sure!
